Proviplast® 2102

Proviplast 2102 is an ideal plasticiser for polyamide, polyurethane and polyester materials. Due to its specific chemical structure, it shows excellent compatibility with these polar resins. Proviplast 2102 is an ideal plasticiser for polar polyamides that are typically processed at higher temperatures (up to 280°C).
Proviplast 2102 is also used as a plasticiser for hot melt adhesives based on mixed polyamides (e.g. polyamide 610, polyamide 612, polyether-amide block copolymers) and thermoplastic polyesters, which are for example used in coated and laminated fabrics. Proviplast 2102 has a triple function in polyurethanes coatings; as a plasticiser, as a processing aid with good pigment carrier characteristics, and as an antistatic agent.
Proviplast 2102 can also be used as a plasticiser for polyacrylic esters or cellulose esters, and as a reactive diluent for phenolic resins.
