Hypro® Reactive Liquid Polymers (RLP) are based on solution polymerized butadiene homopolymers and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers. They feature carboxyl, amine and methacrylate vinyl reactive functional groups. Reactive Liquid Polymers are used as co-reactants in thermoset systems. At lower levels they function as tougheners, whilst at high levels they provide high elastomeric properties to thermoset materials.
Hypro™ 2000X174 ETB is a linear epoxy capped low
molecular weight butadiene homopolymer based on Hypro 2000X162. It is designed to function as a toughening agent for epoxy adhesives, coatings and composites applications. Unlike traditional adducts of CTBN, Hypro 2000X174 is free of residual epoxy resin and can be used to modify any resin system.
