Hypro® Reactive Liquid Polymers (RLP) are based on solution polymerized butadiene homopolymers and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers. They feature carboxyl, amine and methacrylate vinyl reactive functional groups. Reactive Liquid Polymers are used as co-reactants in thermoset systems. At lower levels they function as tougheners, whilst at high levels they provide high elastomeric properties to thermoset materials.
Hypro 1300X33 VTBNX is a methacrylate terminated
butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It is derived from the
reaction of 1300X9 CTBNX with glycidyl methacrylate.
1300X33 VTBNX is used predominantly by blending with
existing acrylic, PVC, vinyl ester or unsaturated polyester
resin systems to gain product performance improvements
