Low molecular wt.alkyl phenol disulphide oligomers that conatin between 20% – 32% sulphur. Forms monosulphidic crosslinks, nitrosamine free and with high elastomer solubility. Very useful tackifying resin for interply adhesion, that due to the Phenol group also exhibits mild antioxidant properties. Vultac resins are used for disporportionation and esterification of rosins.
Low molecular weight alkyl phenol disulphide resin containing 21% free sulphur, and with a softening point around 90°c, A very efficient rubber crosslinking agent with excellent tack and adhesive qualities.
