Mixland + ZDTP – Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate - is a secondary accelerator and a non-blooming sulphur donor for the vulcanisation of NR and synthetic rubbers such as SBR, NBR, IR, IIR and EPDM.
It can substitute classical sulphur donors such as DTDM, DPTT or TMTD.
It provides vulcanisates with good heat ageing resistance and favourable compression set properties.
In NR, it is an ultra accelerator for sulphenamides and it gives excellent reversion resistance.
ZDTP readily disperses in rubbers. Recommended quantity is between 2 to 6 phr. Proper vulcanisation is obtained with sulphenamides at temperatures above 180° C. For NR, it gives an excellent vulcanisation plateau with sulphenamides.
