Mixland + ZDEC - Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate - is a fast curing primary accelerator for NR, SBR, NBR, IR, IIR, BIIR, EPDM. Mixland+ ZDEC exceeds ZDMC in accelerating effects and shows a slight tendency to premature vulcanisation.
It is also used as a secondary accelerator for all sulphur curable elastomers. In general mechanical rubber goods, it is used with TBBS.
It is a booster for thiazole, guanidine and aldehyde-amine accelerators.
In adhesive systems, it acts as an antioxidant and it is a stabiliser in thermoplastic rubbers and hot melts.
It provides fast cures at low curing temperatures, limited scorch safety, vulcanisates with good levels of mechanical properties, good heat-ageing resistance and excellent vulcanisate colour in non-black compounds.
