Mixland + Sulphur - is a a vulcanising agent for unsaturated elastomers (especially NR, SBR and NBR). Due to its limited solubility in elastomers, it can delay bin scorch, blooming and migration and thus preserve surface tack.
Some sulphur, generally 1 part or less, is used in styrene-butadiene heat resisting compounds along with the sulphur bearing ultras.
It is also used in some neoprene compounds as cure activator, and to improve storage stability.
In vulcanisation, Mixland+ S has poor thermal stability and poor stability with basic accelerators.
