Mixland + OTOS – N-oxydiethylenethiocarbamyl-N’-oxydiethylene sulfenamide – is a thiocarbamyl sulphenamide accelerator. It is much more efficient than benzothiazole sulphenamide accelerators. It produces vulcanisates with a high proportion of mono and disulphide crosslinks and it provides superior reversion resistance, low heat buildup and low compression set. It also provides more delayed action and faster cures than most benzothiazole sulphenamides.
It can also be used as a sulphur donor to replace DTDM.
