mercaptobenzimidazole – Used alone, Mixland+ MMBI provides relatively weak antioxidant effect on natural and synthetic rubbers, somewhat improved in vulcanisates accelerated with dithiocarbamates. In combination with other antioxidants it provides remarkable synergistic antioxidant performances. It also has a brightening effect, especially if the goods are transparent.
It affords protection from oxygen, heat and non-orientated crack formation (cracking). To some extent, it is effective against rubber poisons and fatigue.
It is used for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR.
