Ekaland TMTM – Tetramethyl thiuram monosulphide is an ultra-accelerator for NR with better scorch resistance than DPTT and TMTD. Medium-fast accelerator for SBR, NBR, IIR, EPDM. It is also used as a secondary accelerator for thiazoles and guanidines.It also acts as a retarder for CR.
Sulfur and zinc oxide are required for good cure.It provides good heat and ageing resistance.It is non-colouring and non-staining.
It is also a polymerisation inhibitor for certain synthetic elastomers
