MLPC International has been developing its expertize in the chemistry of CS2 (carbon disulfide), CNCl (cyanogen chloride) and S2Cl2 (amines) for almost sixty years.This experience has made MLPC International a leader in the production of additives for the rubber industry : thiurams ;thioureas, guanidines, carbazides and rubber chemical masterbatches. Ekaland DBTU – N,N’-Dibutyl thiourea is a nitrosamine free accelerator, antidegradant and corrosion inhibitor. Ultra-accelerator for mercaptan-modified CR (1-3 phr). It has a vulcanisation behaviour similar to that of ETU and DETU. It is slightly safer than DETU.
It is also used as a secondary accelerator for NR and synthetic rubbers.
It disperses easily in rubber. It is non-staining and does not bloom. It is practically odourless.
Antioxidant for NR, antiozonant for NR and SR, particularly SBR.
