Martin Cicognani
Originally trained as a rubber technologist within a London based cable manufacturer, I joined Hubron in 1979. Eager to gain a wider polymer industry perspective, I worked for Akzo and DSM in engineering plastic sales from 1986 to 1993.
After rejoining Hubron in the same year, my aim has been to expand the markets we serve and the services we offer to both principals and customers.
Stuart Fellows
With a degree in Polymer Science & Technology from Brunel University, I started work as a Rubber Technologist for BTR in 1990, before moving in 1997 to Avon Rubber as Process Engineer, leading to roles as a Works Chemist, and finally Purchasing Manager – Chemicals.
Keen to broaden my knowledge of the polymer industry, and further develop my commercial skills, in 2005 I moved to Hubron, as their Regional Manager for the South of the UK, and Ireland, and feel that I bring a practical knowledge of polymers to the role and to assist our customers needs.
Richard Parr

After graduating from Staffordshire University in 2003 and 2005 my career in the polymer industry took hold with a specialist resin flooring manufacturer as Applications Development Chemist. I eventually moved to South Africa in 2007 to take up a secondment post as Chief Chemist. In 2010 I moved to a specialist manufacturer of electrical insulating varnishes and resins as their Development Chemist. Keen to further develop my commercial skills within the industry I moved to Hubron in 2011 as Regional Manager for the North of the UK bringing with me a wide practical knowledge of formulating within the speciality chemical and polymer industry.
In my spare time I have two young sons and 3 dogs to occupy, so focus very much on getting outdoors with everybody as much as I can! This usually involves many countryside walks, fishing trips, clay pigeon shooting and training my very active working Cocker Spaniel!
Wim Kerssen

My career started as a paint specialist, followed by polymer technology, specialised in coatings, adhesives, plastics and composite applications. Over the years I have held several managerial positions, technical and commercial, within B2B multinational companies: ICI Resins, BASF, Mc Worther-Eastman, and others. These periods included 3 secondments together with my family, twice in Britain and once in Indonesia.
I joined Hubron for the first time in 2001 as regional manager Benelux, and I am now for the second time a member of the Hubron team since February 2011, as consultant for business development & sales in the Benelux and Germany. Although I am native Dutch, I live with my wife (and our British cat) in Germany, because we like the space and silence of the countryside for our hobbies of gardening and hiking.
Debra Hogarth
I started work at Hubron in March 2004, initially as a Customer Service Coordinator but due to my happy disposition & excellent work ethic
, I was promoted to the Sales Office Manager in 2006.
I am married and have no children, so make the most of this by holidaying as much as possible.
Claire Smith
I have worked at Hubron since 2005, initially in an administration position; my role now encompasses more compliance matters which keep me very busy. I have 2 daughters and a slightly bonkers Labradoodle to keep me busy at home, and I enjoy walking with them – in 2007 I completed the Coast to Coast walk. I recently treated myself to a Kawasaki motorbike having achieved one of my personal ambitions of obtaining a motorcycle driving licence.
Carol Hill
I joined Hubron in 2002 as a Customer Service Coordinator, after relocating from the Midlands. One of the best aspects of my role is the daily contact and rapport I have built with our customers.
I have 2 teenage daughters and live with my partner, 3 Rottweiler’s and 2 parrots which keep me very active but lets me enjoy the countryside and fresh air.
As I enjoy holidaying in Spain one of my goals is to become fluent in Spanish, and I have undertaken classes to help me achieve this.
Denise Scott
I joined Hubron in July 2010 after leaving the aerospace business, so I am the newest member of the sales team. I look forward to facing the challenges of what my new role offers and I already feel accepted as part of Hubron’s happy team.
After years spent working for a large company it is refreshing to experience ‘being a name instead of a number’ which a smaller business offers.
